Baby Owl Has Hatched!!

After a long blogging break, we are back, and are pleased to announce the arrival of our baby boy, Logan John Henry. My labor was extremely quick (literally only minutes) and he ended up being born at home on Feb. 18th. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 2.9 oz. and was 19 3/4 in. long. It is really fun having two boys. Micaiah is very excited to be a big brother and can't wait until Logan is big enough to play with.
So what's in a name? Logan means "hollow". We chose this to remind us that we are hollow until God fills us. John means "God is gracious". "Logan John" is to remind us, in essence, how great our sin and misery are, and to remind us that because God is indeed gracious, how we are delivered from all our sins and misery. Our prayer is that Logan will hold these truths close and live a life of thankfulness to God for such deliverance.
We are grateful to God for our precious new baby and we look forward to the adventure ahead.
